The inaugural 2025 Virginia Justice Conference will be on Thursday, September 11, 2025 and Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Richmond Convention Center, 403 N. 3rd Street, Richmond, VA 23219.
The inaugural 2025 Virginia Justice Awards & Sneaker Ball will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Black Olive Pizzeria, 13 W. Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23220.

2025 Virginia Justice Conference
September 11 & 12, 2025 9am - 4pm
Join Virginia advocates, directly impacted community, and others to strategize and collaborate ahead of 2026 General Assembly. We will discuss the many avenues to liberation and reform in the Virginia criminal legal system ecosystem.
Tickets on sale thru 9/10/25. Limited number of scholarships available for directly impacted individuals thru 8/25/25.
Richmond City Expungement Clinic
September 12, 2025 9am - 1pm
If you have non-convictions in Richmond, VA you may be eligible to expunge those charges from your Virginia criminal record. Pre-registration required by 9/1/25.
Hosted by Nolef Turns Inc, Justice Forward Virginia Foundation, University of Richmond Carrico School of Law, Capital One, Richmond Public Law Library, University of Richmond Police Department and Richmond Commonwealth Attorney's Office.

The 2025 Nolef Turns Second Chances Awards & Sneaker Ball will be held September 20, 2025 at Black Olive Pizzeria, 13 W. Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23220 from 7pm - 11pm. Cash bar available and music by the legendary DJ Lonnie B.
Nominate a Second Chances Champion by September 14, 2025.
Vendor and Resource Provider Registration
September 11 & 12, 2025 9am - 4pm
Are you a resource provider for individuals impacted by crime, trauma and mass incarceration? Register for a table at our event. Please only register for one of the two days. Limited to 25 vendors per day.
Lead a Panel or Workshop
Do you have an idea for a panel? Our focus will be on Virginia justice specific topics to include voting rights and restoration of rights, expungement and record sealing, pretrial justice, reentry, harm reduction, policy and advocacy, education in prison, second chance hiring/housing and family reunification/support.
Please submit your proposal along with your bio, headshot and social media links by 8/15/25. Speakers will be notified by 8/22/25

Nolef Turns Inc. has secured a group rate at the Hilton Richmond Downtown for guests who are staying overnight for the conference. The group rate is $206/night from September 10-12, 2025.
